The Master IB Programme combines the global perspective of international business with the up-to-date strategic thinking, which is required to develop competitive advantage and implement a new strategic design of business. The MSc in International Business attracts a highly cosmopolitan mix of students from a wide variety of academic backgrounds. By interacting with students from different countries of the world you will enhance your understanding of other business, economic, political and legal environments as well as other cultures and ethical issues. The modules of the programme discuss first – the drivers of globalization and internationalization processes and second – how this global business environment influences companies’ competitiveness and strategy. After your studies you will have the competence and qualifications to work with international business related tasks in companies, organizations or in the public sector.
The Master’s degree course in Product and Process Management (PPM) provides its graduates with professional skills and specialist knowledge about modern product and process management, its economic and technological aspects, in international and local business. The PPM second circle studies encompass courses with experienced academic staff, market practitioners and foreign lecturers. The 4-semester course includes additionally PPM Summer School indented to integrate the course participants and to acquaint foreign students with Polish culture, entrepreneurship and activity on Polish labour market.
Quantitative Finance is a two-year Master's degree programme, which aims at preparing for careers in financial sector as quantitative analyst or risk manager. The programme is designed for graduates with bachelor's or engineer degree who are able to undertake a highly-specialized and quantitative-oriented study of finance. During the study you will have courses with practicioners working in the financial industry as risk managers and specialists for pricing financial instruments. International Co-operation The program Quantitative Finance is led with the cooperation of Lisbon School of Economics and Management at the University of Lisbon and University of Lorraine in Nancy (France).
The Doctoral Seminars in English at The Poznań Univeristy of Economics and Business is based on individual, interpersonal forms of studying: seminars, workshops and summer schools; intended to provide the students with knowledge and experience in a active and direct way. All programmes of study are regularly reviewed to ensure that the teaching arrangements are satisfactory and that students are making appropriate progress.
I am very satisfied with the Finance program at PUEB. The program is based on CFA materials which are professional and helpful in understanding the financial models applied in the economy and the key drivers influencing financial markets. Finance have awaken my entrepreneurial spirit and also improved the problem solving skills that I use in my daily life. Above that, the University and Poznan city itself is a great place with a lot of friendly and open people, top-level infrastructure and many activities which allow me to safely and enjoyably develop myself.
