The University of Malta is the most senior of higher education establishments here. Run by the government from public funds, it’s available to applicants with the required academic level. Keeping its social responsibility in view, it strives to facilitate educational courses which are relevant to national needs. The institution is governed by its Council and Senate. It has, in recent times, adjusted to fit in with the requirements of the European Higher Education and the Bologna Process.
