Spain is a popular destination for international students thanks to its high-quality education, affordable living costs, rich culture, and welcoming atmosphere. With over 96 universities—many offering programs in both Spanish and English—students can choose from a wide range of academic fields and some of the most prestigious business schools in the world.
In addition, our country is the largest recipient of exchange students within the Erasmus program. If we also take into account that Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world, Spain is a key destination in terms of educational offerings.
A global leader in various fields, Spain is one of the world's top tourist destinations. In this regard, it is worth noting that our country ranks second in the world in terms of the number of World Heritage cities, third in terms of the number of natural areas designated as Biosphere Reserves, and first in terms of the number of blue beaches in the northern hemisphere.
